AP Minister for Information Technology Nara Lokesh called on Reliance Industries chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani and requested him to invest in AP.

Lokesh also met several other industrialists to attract investments for the State.

It is gathered that during his meeting with Mukesh Ambani, Lokesh explained at length of facilities being extended by the State government to investors.

He also explained the steps being taken for construction of Amaravati capital city and also the new policies adopted by the government for development the of information technology and industries in the State.

He invited Reliance Industries to invest in the development of AP.

Sources close to Lokesh claimed that the RIL Chairman responding positively and assured to extend needed support for the development of the State.

Lokesh also met chief executive officers of several IT companies and banks and explained the IT policy brought out by the State government.
