E-commerce colossus Amazon founder Bezos, 55, remains the world's richest person, ahead of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, as his riches swelled by USD 19 billion in one year and is now worth USD 131 billion, Forbes said.
Wipro Chairman Azim Premji is ranked 36th with a net worth of $22.6 billion dollars. Technology major HCL's co-founder Shiv Nadar, ranked 82nd and ArcelorMittal Chairman and CEO Lakshmi Mittal at the 91st rank come in within the top-100 billionaires in the world.
Earlier, according to the Hurun Global Rich List 2019, Mukesh Ambani had entered the top 10 global rich list with a networth of $54 billion. The Hurun Global Rich List 2019 stated that Amazon chief Jeff Bezos is still world's richest man. He has ranked the list for the second year in a row, while Mukesh Ambani is placed 10th with a network of Rs 3.83 lakh crore, thanks to a rally in RIL shares, which had topped the Rs 8-lakh-crore-mark last month. Ambani owns almost 52 percent in Reliance.
"Having started off similarly after the break-up of the family wealth, Mukesh Amabani has added $30 billion to his wealth in the past seven years, while Anil has lost over $5 billion during the same period," said the Hurun report.
