Two-wheeler speech maker Benelli has launched its much awaited bike Leonesino 500 in India. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 4.79 lakh. Coming in three variants (standard, trial and sports) in the international market, this bike has been launched in India only in Variant (Stented). Scrambler style Benelli Leoncino is available in 500 colors (Steel Gray and Red). This new bike from Benelli has a 499.6 cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, twin-cylinder engine. This engine generates 47.6 hp of power at 8,500 rpm and 45 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The front of the bike has 50mm USD forks and monoshock suspension in the rear. Both its wheels are 17-inch and the bike is equipped with ABS. Talking of braking, it has a 320 mm dual disc in the front and 260 mm single disc brakes in the rear. Benelli has started booking this bike. It can be booked on the company's website for 10 thousand rupees. Benelli is giving a 5-year / unlimited kilometer warranty on the Leoncino 500. This bike will be imported as SerKD (separate parts). Talking about the price, it is 31 thousand rupees cheaper than the company's TRK 502 bike. The TRK 502 is priced at Rs 5.10 lakh. There is no other bike to directly compete in the Indian market. However, in terms of price, it is believed to be competing with the Kawasaki Z650 and CFMoto 650 NK. Apart from these, it will also compete with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, which is low in price but around this bike in power.
