For several months now, fans of Salman Khan have been champing at the bit for Dabangg 3. The action-comedy, directed by Prabhu Deva, is nearly two months away from its release in cinemas. However, the film’s official trailer has surfaced online. Going by the trailer, this one looks like a typical Salman Khan film, as Prabhudeva has said in an interview a couple of days back.

It is an absolute delight to see Salman coming back as Chulbul Pandey – his action is on point, his puns hilarious than ever. The director, it appears has milked the best out of him. The magic that Sonakshi Sinha created with Dabangg (2010) and Dabangg 2 (2012) is intact. As Rajjo, she is all set to make way into your hearts all over again. Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Saiee Manjrekar gets considerable space in the trailer and looks refreshing. However, the one actor who takes you by total surprise is Kichcha Sudeepa, who, in the role of the antagonist, looks super promising. It will be interesting to see the face-off between him and Salman.

Dabangg 3, a sequel to Dabangg 2, is written by Prabhu Deva, Dilip Shukla and Aloke Upadhyaya. The film, also featuring Arbaaz Khan, Mahie Gill, Tinnu Anand and Nikitin Dheer in pivotal roles, is a joint production venture between Salman Khan Films, Arbaaz Khan Productions and Saffron Broadcast & Media Limited. It is scheduled to hit the screens on December 20.

A few days ago, Salman had released a motion poster of Dabangg 3 along with which he announced his new film, Radhe. Releasing on Eid next year, Radhe will also be directed by Prabhu Deva.
