Marred by controversies and opposition, Deepika Padukone starrer Padmavati’s release has been banned in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated the film which has distorted facts will not be released in the state.
Earlier today, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has turned down the application by the makers of Padmavati seeking to expedite Certification process of the movie.
Turning down the plea, the CBFC said that the movie will be reviewed and certified as per set norms of following chronological order of all applications.
