There is a huge demand for IT and ITeS related job role training programs for the next 5 years
NASSCOM agreed to take up the following activities for the youngsters of AP
Agreed to conduct third party assessment through their temporary portal till Skill India portal is ready.
The assessment fee will be paid by apssdc upfront.
Apssdc would sign MOU with NASSCOM to take up various today's industry driven job oriented courses like Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Associate Analytics, Cybre Crime etc. Shortly these courses are are made equivalent to level 5 in NSQF.
It is proposed to train 50 trainers ; three from each district in this NSQF level 5 course module. These master trainers will be certified by NASSCOM.
One college in each district with good strength of electronics stream students will be identified. One or two faculty members from these colleges will be given trainers training by NASSCOM. They will be linked to Webinar for further upgradation of their skills.
Around 20 master trainers from apssdc will also be involved in this trainers program.
In each college two batches 50 each for skilling in the said job roles will be formed. Morning session for eligible college students and evening session for eligible unemployed technical students will be used for skilling in the said roles.
Nasscom also agreed conduct Techvip3 examination in order to assess the aptitude of the trainees.
Nasscom agreed to hand hold apssdc officials trough zoom call on every Wednesday from 4to5 p.m forvsuccessful implementation of skills in this sector.
These skilled youngsters will be provided online apprentice projects also besides linking them to to various related industries.
Nasscom and apssdc agreed in principle to skill 5,000 youngsters in the current year in IT and ITeS sector based on industry demand job roles.
