Jammu, Four more tested positive for COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, raising the tally of positive cases in the union territory to 45.
The four cases detected were from Kashmir -- two each from Shopian and Srinagar and all are the contacts of previous positive cases. Contact tracing working on ground", government spokesman, Rohit Kansal said.
Earlier in the day, three had tested positive for the virus in the Jammu division.
With this, the total number of coronavirus patients has risen to 45 in J&K, out of which 31 are being treated in Srinagar and 14 in Jammu hospitals.
Two COVID-19 patients have so far died in J&K, while two have been completely cured.
Authorities have now warned those with penal action attracting imprisonment who have entered the state without disclosing their abroad travel history.
Doctors fear that these people mingling with the locals could become the reason for community transmission of the dreaded virus.
