Chandigarh, With the total number of coronavirus cases in Haryana rising to 29 on Tuesday, seven in less than 24 hours, Chief Secretary Keshni Anand Arora issued directions to follow protocol relating to quarantine.
As per the bulletin of state's Health Department, the state has reported highest 10 cases from Gurugram, four from Panipat, six from Faridabad, three in Sirsa, two in Panchkula and one each from Palwal, Ambala, Hisar and Sonipat.
The test reports of 227 patients are awaited, while 543 samples were found negative, it said.
While presiding over a meeting of the Crisis Coordination Committee through video conferencing here, the Chief Secretary said in both urban and rural areas if anyone has come from outside that person should be quarantined for 14 days immediately.
She said the state has designated five private laboratories in Gurugram district for COVID-19 testing.
She directed to ensure the thermal testing of each migrant staying in relief camps. Also, setting up of dedicated COVID-19 hospitals in each district.
