Its been raining data for mobile subscribers ever since Reliance Jio entered the Indian telecom market. In the past few months, plans offering 1GB data have become a norm. From Airtel to Vodafone, Reliance Jio to Idea, every telecom operator has affordable plans offering 1GB data dialy. Now the new trend appears to be the plans offering 2GB data. Recently, Airtel launched a Rs 349 plan offering 2GB data per day.Now a similar plan comes from Vodafone. The country’s leading telecom service provider has also launched a Rs 348 plan offering 2GB data daily.
The all-new Rs 348 plan for the company’s prepaid users offers 56GB data and has a validity of 28 days. The daily FUP limit is 2GB. The subscribers will get 250 minutes in a day and 1000 minutes per week to make calls. In case the users exhaust this limit then they will be charged at 1 paisa per minute for subsequent calls.In August this year, Vodafone had launched a similar Rs 348 plan, offering users 1GB data daily along with unlimited local and STD calls and 100 SMS. The pack’s validity is 28 days.
Coming to Airtel’s Rs 349 plan and Rs 309 plan of Reliance Jio, Airtel is offering users 2GB data per day under the plan. Valid for a period of 28 days, Airtel pre-paid subscribers can enjoy unlimited local, STD calling and 100 SMS per day under the plan. On the other hand, Reliance Jio offers 1GB data daily under its Rs 309 plan, which comes with a validity of 49 days. The users can also make unlimited calls and can send 3,000 SMSes per day.
Last month, Vodafone rolled out Rs 199, plan for its prepaid users under which it is offering 1GB data per day for the period of 28 days.
