Mumbai, Dopedaddy and Stony Psyko -- known as the band Dopeadelicz -- have dropped their new song "Vishama", from their upcoming album "Mapulz" on Saturday.
The song is written and performed by Rajesh Radhakrishnan, known as Dopedaddy, and Tony Sebastian, or Stony Psyko.
"Over the past few months we have been facing a lot of issues due to the coronavirus and the lockdown state. But if we look at history, the suffering of people has always been there but the only difference is that every time we overcome a problem another one rises. Innocent people are locked up in jails for crimes they haven't committed. People are locked up in wrong beliefs and superstitions. Women are locked up and raped. The lockdown is not outside but inside our minds. We have limited ourselves from standing for what's right," the duo said.
"Vishama means poison. Once a snake bites you, you immediately seek an antidote to cure yourself before it is too late right. The same way, when something happens around us, we have to react quickly before it is too late," they added.
