APEDB inks Rs 1.44 lakh cr worth MoUs with Japan and South Korea

Visakhapatnam: The Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) on Monday claimed that major firms have agreed to invest Rs 1.44 lakh cr worth projects in the state at the recently concluded marquee investors Partnership Summit 2018, in which Japan and South Korea taken part, besides others. 

The APEDB is the single point contact for trade, investments and partnerships in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

In an official press release, the APEDB said it has was instrumental in orchestrating South Korea and  Japan country sessions at the Partnership Summit 2018.

Few of the marquee investment commitments were from companies such as Vedanta, Essel Group, Reliance Industries, Toray, Lixil, JBM Group. Amway, LV Prasad Eye Institute and All Cargo Logistics.

Some of the key sectors of MOUs which concluded during the three-day summit include sectors such as Auto, Pharma and Healthcare, Aerospace and Defence, Construction, Logistics and Food Processing

The Partnership Summit is an annual investment extravaganza and the state has witnessed participation of 4250 delegates from over 50 countries.
