Hyderabad: The Budget session of the Telangana legislature would begin on March 12.
A notification, summoning both Houses of legislature on March 12, was issued by Governor ESL Narasimhan today.
During the session, issues related to agriculture, Central funds, implementation of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, jobs etc. are expected to figure prominently.
The TRS government has decided to introduce an investment support scheme for farmers, while opposition Congress and BJP allege that the state government has failed to protect the interests of farmers.
The Congress recently launched a 'bus yatra' to highlight the alleged failures of the TRS government.
The ruling TRS alleged the funds and other promises made in the Reorganisation Act have not been fully met by the Centre, a point contested by the BJP.
The opposition has been also attacking the TRS on its electoral promises like two-bed room houses for the poor.
