Many BJP leaders expressed their happiness on the SC verdict on the Judge Loya case.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath warned that some people were using PILs as Political Interest Litigations, which was lethal for the nation.

Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the case was not activated to serve public interest but to serve the interests of Congress and damage the interests of BJP, and BJP party President Amit Shah in particular.He also asked Congress to heed to the Court's advice when it said that political battles must be fought on political grounds.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh too said that Congress attempt to malign senior leaders of BJP had failed, and he asked them not to make the judiciary a field for political battles.

Senior Lawyer and Former AG Mukul Rohatgi said that these petitioners did not uphold the rule of law,and their main aim was to attack some senior functionaries of the current government.He called the petition as personal interest Litigation, and not public interest Litigation.
