Shiv Sena leader Sachin Sawant was shot dead on Sunday night allegedly by two motorbike-borne assailants in suburban Kandivali in Mumbai, police said.  He served Shiv Sena by functioning as a up-shakha pramukh in Gokul Nagar area

This is the third attack against Shiv Sena leaders in the last two months, the party’s local leader Sachin Sawant from Kurar, Malad, was shot by unidentified assailants on Sunday night.

No headway has been made in the case and Police are now investigating the matter.
