Tejashwi Yadav quotes Wordsworth after meeting Rahul Gandhi

Hours after meeting Congress president Rahul Gandhi in Delhi yesterday, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav took to Twitter to share his feelings. And in his tweet about his "fruitful meeting" with Rahul, Tejashwi quoted none other than British legend William Wordsworth.

"Fruitful meeting with @RahulGandhi Ji. Bliss was it to be in that dawn..to be young was all the more heaven,".

Under the poetic lines, Tejashwi added, "We are committed to take nation out of the climate of fear generated by this regime. Watch out! Shall come out wth a committed programme for farmers, youth, women, poor."

Now, the thing is, Wordsworth penned these lines in the 1800s in praise of the French Revolution in his autobiographical work, The Prelude.

Critics believe Wordsworth, in this poem, described French Revolution as "the inauguration of a new age of political equality and freedom from tyranny,".

Take a closer look at some more lines from the poem:

Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive,
But to be young was very heaven! -- Oh! times,
In which the meagre, stale, forbidding ways
Of custom, law, and statute, took at once
The attraction of a country in romance!

What do you think of Tejashwi's choice of words here?
