Plot to divide India? Asaduddin Owaisi links religion to military jobs, seeks the count of Muslims in Army

The All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday linked religion to military jobs while challenging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to answer his questions on the recruitment of Muslims in the military. On Tuesday, he dared the Bharatiya Janata Party to prove him wrong, adding that the party was not doing anything for Muslims.

While addressing a gathering, Owaisi had on Monday asked how many Muslims got jobs in Border Security Force (BSF), Rapid Action Force (RAF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) over the last four years.

I am challenging the government to tell me how many Muslims were recruited in the forces in the last four years, asked Owaisi.

“You talk about giving computers and Qurans in both the hands of Muslims. But there are no jobs. Nothing is visible on the Internet.”

“One of my brothers tells me that Muslims in CISF are 3.7 per cent. In CRPF, they are just 5.5 per cent, in Rapid Action Force, who in their fancy uniforms will be the first one to beats us, Muslims are just 6.9 per cent,” said Owaisi.

Here is the video of Owaisi:

Talking to reporters on Tuesday, Owaisi asked if Muslims are not a part of minorities. He further asked the BJP what the party has done for Muslims.

Hitting back at the BJP, Owaisi said the party is not doing justice to minorities. “I have all the right to question the government,” added Owaisi.
