More complaints against former TN minister in Job racket case

More complaints against former TN minister in Job racket case

Chennai,  There seems to be no respite from the woes for former minister and AIADMK leader Rajenthra Bhalaji after more complaints have been filed against him in two job racket cases.

Already 23 people have complained that the former minister had cheated them promising jobs in Public Sector Undertaking 'Aavin' and had taken money but they could not get the promised jobs.

After 23 people filed complaints against him, many others have also joined and filed complaints against the former minister. The corruption in the job racket case, according to sources in state police, will run into crores of rupees.

Meanwhile, the Madras High Court on Friday refused to grant anticipatory bail to the former minister. Justice Nirmal Kumar while dismissing the plea of anticipatory bail of the former minister said that the court was finding that several job racket cases are coming up before the court and that innocent and educated youth were getting lured into these rackets.

The court also said that rather than the money being usurped, this would lead to the precious time of the youths being lost waiting for such jobs.

Justice Nirmal Kumar said, "The case is of job racket and this court will not show any leniency towards the accused."

The stringent action by the court is being considered as a major setback to the former minister.
