World Championships runner-up Sindhu, who was nominated for the Green challenge by former India cricketer VVS Laxman, has accepted the noble challenge and planted tree saplings in the premises of her residence. India badminton star PV Sindhu, in turn, nominated another sportswoman, boxer MC Mary Kom, actors Suriya and Samantha. Green Challenge is an initiative launched with the intention of educating people about the government's greenhouse program. So far many celebs of all the fields have participated in the noble cause.
