Veteran journalist Kuldip Nayar has passed away. He was 95. According to the reports, eminent Indian writer passed away on Wednesday night after a brief illness at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi. The senior journalist, columnist & former MP candidly expressed his views in his widely read column ‘Between the Lines’. During an emergency, Nayar was one of the first journalists to be put in jail. His contribution to journalism will be remembered by all. He will be cremated this afternoon.
