A Pakistani helicopter violated Indian airspace on Sunday afternoon. The incident happened around 12.10 PM when a Pakistani chopper entered Indian airspace without permission. According to reports, Indian side opened fire at the chopper and soon it made a hasty retreat.
This is not the first time that Pakistani choppers have entered airspace without prior notice. Earlier in February this year, a similar incident happened in the Poonch sector itself. A Mi-17 helicopter of Pakistan entered within 300 km of the LoC. However, there was no opening of fire in that instant.
Pakistan's latest escalation comes on a day when India exposed its neighbouring country at UNGA, where Sushma Swaraj and Eenam Gambhir explained how nothing much has changed even after regime change there.
