Central Minister visits Central Warehousing Corporation

Sh. Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food &Public Distribution, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India has visited the CONTAINER FREIGHT STATION(CFS) -KUKATPALLY operated by Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC). During his visit, the Minister inspected the godowns, open yard, equipmentand reviewed the performance of CWC. CFS-Kukatpally established in Feb. 1998 is the first Container Freight Station in Hyderabadand also operates a Bonded Warehouse. This unit offers various services like Customs Clearance, storage and handling of import/export cargo, handling and movement of containers by road to gateway ports, Reefer Container handling & plug-in, On-wheel examination and Container fumigation etc. The Minister appreciated the efforts of CWC staff on showing continual improvement and profitability since its inception. The Minister in his address informed that as India is celebrating the AzadiKaAmritMahotsav to commemorate 75 years of Independence and stressed that the efforts, ideas & actions of all the employees should lead the country towards Aatmanirbhar Bharat and in reaching newer heights.  The Minister later attended plantation program and planted a tree in the premises. Sh. Ajay Zadoo, Regional Manager, Sh. SumanManchala, AGM, Sh. RamaraoNaik, Manager, CFS-Kukapally and other officials of CWC accompanied the Minister during his visit.
