Department of Posts through India Post Payments Bank agreed to work with Women and Child Welfare Department regarding AADHAAR enrolment through Anganwadis.

1552 Grameen Dak Sevaks and Postmen in 28 mofusil districts of Telangana are certified by UIDAI to carry out the Child AADHAAR Enrollment in Child Enrolment Lite Client (CELC).

Now, Enrol kids below the age of 5 years for AADHAR at your doorstep through Postman/Grameen Dak Sevaks or at any Post Office or at any enrollment camp being organized in schools or by raising a request in Department of Posts “POST INFO” application

Enrollment of the child will be carried out by capturing the kids photograph and few demographic details in addition to AADHAAR biometric authentication of parents and the operator. Birth certificate of child, is the only document required to enroll the child.

This service is being offered absolutely FREE OF COST. The service is gaining popularity among public and has recorded nearly 1 Lakh transactions during this Financial Year.

School Authorities are requested to coordinate with the local Post Offices for organizing camps for Child Aadhaar Enrollments.
