At least five people were mowed down by a car on Tuesday late night in Haryana's Hisar.

According to initial information, the incident took place at around 2:00 am when workers were sleeping on flyover's footpath.

The vehicle which killed the people also fell from the flyover. The victims are said to be the resident of Bihar. 

Police have begun the investigation into the matter.

The identity of the victims and accused are yet to ascertain.
