7 crore people are CM face for Congress, says Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia

Taking a swipe at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Madhya Pradesh, Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia on Friday exuded confidence that his party will uproot the ruling dispensation in the upcoming Assembly elections.

In an exclusive interview to India TV, Scindia said that the Congress, in these elections, has been campaigning on all the issues relevant to common man - from farmers' crisis to employment and women security.

" State's 7 people are Congress party's CM face for the upcoming elections," Scindia said while answering to a question on party's chief ministerial candidate.

Dismissing rumours of rift between veteran party leader Digvijay Singh and him, he said that Singh is a respectable leader and they had never had differences between them.

Taking a jibe at BJP's ministers and party workers, he said the BJP had failed to bring achhe din for the people, instead the party workers and ministers had amassed properties worth of crores.

Madhya Pradesh goes to polls on November 28 and the votes will be counted on December 11.
