PM Modi after attacking Congress party in Chattarpur continued his aggressive streak in Mandsaur which had seen large-scale farmer protest last year. Aware that there is some amount of resentment against BJP, PM Modi tried to pin the blame on Congress for lack of progress in the farm sector.
He said,
If Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel would have become the first PM of India, then the condition of farmers that have deteriorated in their rule of 55-60 years wouldn't have happened. The farmers of our country would have been strong: PM Modi in Mandsaur #MadhyaPradesh pic.twitter.com/LYEFIzFGJB

PM Modi said that the farmers of this generation are suffering due to the wrong policies of erstwhile Congress government and BJP is being blamed for it. He said that Congress policies are coming up a cropper, and they are crying hoarse about it. PM Modi also said that had Vallabhbhai Patel become the PM of the country, then the wrong policy of 55-60 years wouldn't have happened and they would have been in far better condition.
He didn't even spared former PM Indira Gandhi and questioned whether her 'Garibi Hatao' slogan actually worked on ground. PM Modi also questioned why so many people didn't have accounts despite bank nationalisation done by Indira Gandhi.
But he kept his most critical bits for Rahul and Sonia Gandhi. PM Modi said that people who are out on bail in scams worth crores of rupees are asking reasons behind demonetization. He said that notebandi was done to expose such people.
Ye besharmi dekhiye,jo log croron rupay ki hera-pheri mein jamanat par nikle hain, maa (Sonia Gandhi) aur beta (Rahul Gandhi) dono jamanat pe hain, wo hame sawaal puch rahe hain notebandi kyon ki.Yahi to aaplogon ka khel desh ko dikhane ke liye 'notebandi' ki: PM Modi in Mandsaur pic.twitter.com/w2RPbbjSta

Regarding Kamal Nath's alleged statement about Congress suffering if 90% of Muslims don't vote in Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi said:
Congress is dividing the people. Recently, videos of a senior Congress leader has surfaced on social media. Look how they are seeking votes from particular groups in those videos. Such a thing is not acceptable. It is a disrespect of democracy: PM Modi in Mandsaur. #MadhyaPradesh pic.twitter.com/kqRow58s5w

PM Modi dubbed it as disrespect of democracy and said such things are not acceptable. Kamal Nath on his part has said that the video is forged.
