External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday lashed out at a journalist's tweet that suggested that she was didn't want to be associated with the Narendra Modi government, after she announced that she would not be attending the inauguration of the Katarpur corridor in Pakistan.
The journalist, Seemi Pasha, had tweeted, "Does anyone else get the sense that Sushma Swaraj doesn’t want to be associated with the Modi Govt & its antics anymore?"
To which, Swaraj responded that it was an 'immature and senseless' statement.

Swaraj on Saturday said that Union Ministers Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Hardip Singh Puri will attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor in Pakistan next week.
Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had earlier said that Islamabad had invited Swaraj to visit the country to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor on November 28.
In response to Qureshi, Swaraj wrote that she would not be able to attend the ceremony due to her prior commitments.
"Due to my prior commitments, including election campaign scheduled in the state of Telangana on that day, I would not be able to travel to Kartarpur Sahib," Swaraj wrote.
Swaraj on Tuesday announced that she will not contest 2019 Lok Sabha elections due to health reasons.
Swaraj said that she had informed the party about her decision.
"It is the party which decides, but I have made up my mind not to contest next elections," said Swaraj in Indore.
She is currently the Lok Sabha MP from Vidisha in MP. In December 2016, Swaraj successfully underwent a kidney transplant at AIIMS in the national capital.
In the past, Swaraj has held the position as Delhi's Chief Minister from October 13 to December 3, 1998.
She has also been Informational and Broadcasting Minister in the Centre, spokesperson of the BJP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha.
