At the 50-metre base, there will be a museum that will put on display items that are associated with the Ramayana. The museum will also have on display a section dedicated to the history of Ayodhya. It will also have a section to put on display the 10 avatars of Lord Vishnu.
The Ram statue will be built on 100 acres of land. The Sarayu riverfront will also be developed as part of this ambitious project
Earlier, in an interview with Zee News on Diwali, CM Adityanath had announced that Ayodhya would be developed based on how the Ramayana depicted it.
He had then said that a satisfactory solution to the Ayodhya dispute will be found soon within the constitutional framework of the country. He also said that a grand statue of Lord Ram will be erected in Ayodhya and land has already been identified for it.
When asked whether an ordinance or a legislation is the need of the hour to build Ram Temple. Yogi said that those matters can be discussed in future, but before that Ayodhya needs to be prepared properly, so that concrete plans can be undertaken which satisfies the wishes of the people. UP CM said that the sentiments of people of Ayodhya will be taken care of. He also said that all Hindu seers are supporting them.
