Irrfan Khan created quite a stir and took his fans, followers, colleagues and everyone at large by shock when he took to his social media and early in 2017 announced that he was diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine tumour, a rare type of cancer, and is battling the same.

The actor since then has been London, undergoing treatment for the same and it has been long that we have heard from him.

But recent reports that have surfaced on the internet suggest that the Hindi Medium star was was in India for a couple of days before flying back abroad.

Yes, Irrfan was reportedly in India for two days and he kept it quiet as he did not want anyone to know about it.

According to a report by SpotboyE.com, Irrfan Khan was in the country because of a very personal reason, and went to the Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple, which is in Nashik where he performed puja and havan with pundits.

"The exact details around the date on which this happened is unknown yet, but it was a just a 2-day visit following which he quickly went back to London, for further treatment", said the source, as quoted by the website.

Earlier, there were reports that Irrfan will start shooting for Hindi Medium 2 in December, however, his spokesperson later denied all the speculations, and instead shared an update of his visit to the country.

He said that the actor will be in the country for Diwali and spend time with his family at his Nashik farmhouse.
