Virat Kohli's run with the bat may be at an all-time high but his brushes with controversy are what usually make the headlines.
After the first day of the four-day warm-up match between India and Cricket Australia XI was washed out by relentless rain in Sydney, the skippers of both the teams came out for the toss on the second day.
What followed next was some quality batting from Team India, with five batsmen going past the half-century mark. Kohli looked to be in a good mood as he piled up 64 runs before giving his wicket away to uncapped Aussie teenager Aaron Hardie.
Viewers back home were enjoying the match when a photograph of skipper Kohli started doing the rounds on social media.

Cricket fans immediately took to Twitter to express their displeasure and criticise Kohli for his "disrespectful act".
What did he do?
The Indian captain was "casually" dressed in shorts during the time of toss, which did not go down with ethusiasts of the gentleman's game.
