Kedarnath, the heart-warming love story of a Muslim pithoo and a Hindu tourist, set against the 2013 floods in Uttarakhand, has picked up pace at the box office and has earned Rs 17 crore in just two days. On Sunday, the film’s collections should have grown even more.
Starring Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput, Kedarnath, directed by Abhishek Kapoor has been co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala through his production house RSVP Movies.
While sharing the box collection of the film, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “#Kedarnath gathers momentum on Day 2… Growth on Day 2 [vis-à-vis Day 1]: 34.48%… Should witness an upward trend on Day 3 [Sun] as well… Fri 7.25 cr, Sat 9.75 cr. Total: ₹ 17 cr. India biz.”

According to Taran Adarsh, Kedarnath will pick up more momentum on Sunday. The film faces tough competition from Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth-starrer 2.0, whose Hindi dubbed version is super-strong at the box office.
