New Delhi, A day after a Class 9 girl was shot at in Delhi's Sangam Vihar while riding a scooty, the police were yet to make any arrest.
All the accused have been identified by police, said sources.
On Thursday, bike-borne assailants shot at a 16-year-old Class 9 girl, who was riding a scooty in South Delhi's Sangam Vihar. One of the assailants was said to be her social media friend.
The police got a call of the incident at 3.37 p.m on Thursday. The police said that she suffered a bullet injury on her shoulder and was removed to a nearby government hospital. Her condition was stated to be out of danger by the doctors.
The victim in her statement said that she was on her way back home from school when the three assailants, who were on a bike, started chasing her.
At B Block in Sangam Vihar one of the assailants opened fire, which hit her shoulder. She fell on the ground writhing in pain while the assailants ran away.
"We have lodged a case under section 307 and 34 of IPC. The accused have been identified and a manhunt has been launched to nab them," the police said on Thursday.
