Telangana needs KCR rule for at least next 10-15 years, said TRS working president and MLA elect from Sircilla KT Rama Rao on Saturday.
Addressing 'Meet the Press' at Somajiguda press club, KTR said that KCR will concentrate on national politics as well as state making Hyderabad as a base. Referring to former chief minister NT Rama Rao, KTR said that there is no need to shift the base to Delhi to influence the politics at centre. NT Rama Rao played a key role in national politics, added KTR.
He also refuted the rumours which said that he is gearing up for chief minister's seat after being appointed as working president.
Taking a jibe at AICC president Rahul Gandhi and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, KTR called them 'Galli leaders'. He said that the two have campaigned in the state more than TRS party and claiming themselves as national
KTR also said that they are strengthening the party for facing Panchayat elections.
