In a veiled attack on Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Union minister Smriti Irani has warned people against electing a man with "tuitioned dreams" for the top posts of the country.
"Rahul takes tuition to dream and the current video shows that he doesn't trust his own words but he relies on others who teach him what to speak. It is a warning for the people of this country to know that he is not eligible for any electoral post," Irani told news agency ANI on Tuesday.
The minister's statement came after a video of Rahul Gandhi and Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia went viral on social media. The video shows Gandhi addressing media along with various Congress leaders after the party announced farm loans waivers in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Before Gandhi began to speak, Scindia was seen giving him an 'advice'. "You need to say what Modi (referring to waiving farmers loan)...could not do, I have done. And, don't ask questions," he said.
Irani also took a jibe on it and shared the video on Twitter. "Aajkal sapne dekhne ke liye bhi tuition leni padti hai??? (These days, you need tuition classes just to dream???), she wrote.
On Monday, the minister alleged the "lies" of Congress president on the issue of Rafale deal have been exposed and accused the opposition party of trying to malign the country's defence establishment.
Addressing a press conference Kolkata, Irani said the Gandhi should reveal his source of information for allegations regarding the fighter jet deal and his party should give answers to the people of the country.
