Those who feel unsafe in India should be bombed: UP MLA’s shocker

Those who feel unsafe in India should be bombed: UP MLA’s shocker

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Uttar Pradesh sparked controversy on Friday saying those who feel unsafe in India should be bombed.

Vikram Saini has demanded a law for stringent action against those people complaining of feeling 'unsafe' in India.

"'My personal view is that those who say they feel unsafe  and threatened in India should be bombed."

The MLA also said that he should be given a ministry and he will bomb all such people. "Not even one will be spared."

The MLA's remark came after actor Naseeruddin Shah, in an apparent reference to the recent mob violence, said at many places the death of a cow is being given more importance than the killing of a policeman.

The veteran actor also expressed anxiety over the well-being of his children, who he said have not been brought up as followers of any particular religion.
A few days ago, In an interview, Narendra Modi was asked about eminent personalities, even a person like Naseeruddin Shah, saying that Muslims are not safe in India. However, Prime Minister said that no such incident reflects well on a civilised society. No voices ever should support such incidents. This is totally wrong and totally condemnable. "Did it start after 2014? This is a result of ills within the society. For improving this situation, we should all work collectively. I am not in favour of pursuing a debate that this happened in this government and that happened in that government. Even one incident is condemnable."
