2018 witnessed two of the most anticipated and hyped debuts of the decade. While on one hand we had Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's dainty daughter - Janhvi Kapoor - making people go gaga over her beauty; on the other hand we had Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's fiery child - Sara Ali Khan - winning hearts with her intelligence and candour.
While both of them picked their own trajectories, Sara seemed to glide ahead in the race with two back to back hits ('Kedarnath' and 'Simmba') in a single year. The buzz around Saif's daughter started with her stunning debut on 'Koffee With Karan' and it hasn't still died. But, more than the success of their respective films, its their personalities that caught people's attention. While Sara came across as a level-headed, confident and relatable girl; Janhvi appeared to be overtly emotional, naive and perhaps even diffident.
Considering both the star kids made their debuts in the same year, everyone including their families were believed to be mentally ready for all kinds of comparisions. However, now it seems they were not all that prepared, afterall.
As per a latest report in Zoom, daddy Boney Kapoor is not very pleased with Janhvi's PR team as he feels she is not being 'highlighted and projected' as well as Sara Ali Khan. He is of the opinion that they are not working as effectively and efficiently as Sara's team. He apparently wants the same kind of 'fierceness and enthusiasm' in Janhvi's PR team as well.
The report further suggests that Boney feels that besides all the film offers, Sara has also been getting quite a few brand endorsement deals, advertisements and public appearance offers while Janhvi is missing out on all the limelight.
However, if you ask us, we feel both Janhvi and Sara are doing great for themselves. Janhvi has Karan Johar's magnum opus 'Takht' and Gunjan Saxena's biopic in her kitty. Sara, on the other hand, is rumoured to have bagged a role opposite her crush Kartik Aaryan in Imtiaz Ali's 'Love Aaj Kal 2'. She is also set to pair up with Varun Dhawan for 'Coolie No.1' remake.
