Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah lost his cool on Monday and was caught on camera misbehaving with a lady. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Siddaramaiah is seen holding a meeting with group of leaders. There a lady is seen asking questions, which lead to Siddaramaiah losing cool.
Siddaramaiah was present at his son's constituency Varuna, in Mysuru. Jamila, the lady seen in the video complained about revenue department workers. When Siddaramaiah asked if your MLA is reachable or not, the lady said that she has not seen the MLA since he won the election. The lady banged the table and said that MLA is nowhere to be seen. Siddaramaiah asked her to behave properly but the lady continued to complain.

That's when Siddaramaiah lost his cool and snatched the microphone from her hand. However, her dupatta also slipped and came in his hand. The incident happened in T Narsipur village under Varuna constituency. Reacting to the incident, Union Minister and senior BJP leader Prakash Javadekar said, "Rahul Gandhi should tell what he'll do with him. This is a crime, the way he abused her. That's how they see women, they haven't changed since the tandoor case. They only respect women from one family."
Dinesh Gundu Rao,senior Congress leader from Karnataka has defended Siddaramaiah. He said, "Sometimes when people start asking questions in a rough way & after hearing them out when they don’t stop, you want to pull the mic. When pulling the mic the dupatta came along with. There was no such intention."
